Congratulations! Freehold Borough Education Association Negotiation Team, has been nominated to receive the prestigious NJEA Jim George Collective Bargaining Award. This award is given to one local a year for their noteworthy settlement. Our settlement is the highest in the county as per the September data provided by NJEA.
Thank you to Kathleen Lane FBEA Pride chair for a wonderful Know Your Rights event. This event educated the Freehold Community on immigration rights. This event not only taught families about their rights but also should them that the staff here cares about their family. Both community members and the FBEA look forward to our next event.
Today, March 11, 2016, Marie Blistan, NJEA Vice President, and Sean Spiller, NJEA Secretary-Treasurer, toured all three schools. They wanted me to extend a huge THANK YOU to each and every staff member for all of your hard work and dedication. Marie and Sean have seen our challenges first hand; our lack of space, over crowded classrooms, and underfunded budget. The NJEA will do everything they can to assist us with our expansion and to help us grow as an association.
